Welcome to the new Kenmore Teachers Association Website. This is certainly a work in progress and our site will remain “under construction” for some time. There is no doubt that more than ever before our members rely on the internet to get information. We want to make our site as useful and informative as possible.
More than a year ago, Our Representative Assembly had directed our Executive Board to research and prepare the groundwork for our own site. We have hired one of our own members, Beth Steinbruckner, as our webmaster. She is currently a Library/Media Specialist at Kenmore East. Our Executive Board provides broad parameters for the content on our pages, and Beth will periodically update information and alerts as they become available.
The KTA is a vibrant and responsive organization that truly focuses on it’s purpose as outlined in our KTA Constitution:
· To work for the welfare of the school children, the advancement of education, and the improvement of instructional opportunities for all.
· To develop and promote the adoption of such ethical practices, personnel policies and standards of preparation and participation as mark the teaching profession.
· To enable members to speak with a common voice on matters pertaining to the teaching profession …
