There are over 160 members in The Association of Vestal School Paraprofessionals (Paras). We are school aides and monitors who work within the Vestal School District. You will find us working in the classrooms, libraries, technology and language labs, study halls, cafeterias and playgrounds. Some of us help in the school office and in the guidance department. We work with special education students who may need help in their physical care activities as well as with behavior management needs. We are scattered among the high school, middle school and the five elementary schools within the District. Close to 75% of our Paras live within the Vestal School District and we pay local and school taxes. We are proud of the work we do within the school district.
