If you are off work more than FIVE days, you need to complete paperwork (physician's certificate) for pay or a leave. Forms can be obtained by going through the intranet at the www.detroitk12.org website. Click on Human Resources and then Employee Health Services to download the forms. Make sure to file these important papers otherwise your pay or job may be in jeopardy.

At the Vestal Central Schools Board of Education meeting on March 23,2010 a resolution was passed.

This article discusses who is included in the collective bargaining unit at SUNY Buffalo, SUNY Stony Brook, Rutgers University, and the University of Florida.

EGTA President Jenn Romer address the Board of Education in front of a packed house Wednesday, March 10th.

On Wednesday, March 24, 2010, district staff sent an email out to everyone requesting that employees sign the updated acceptable use policy for websites and technology.  Please know that this is a negotiateable item and that the distirct cannot unilateraly change the conditions of employment without first going through negotiations.  There is no need to sign the form as of now until the matter is resolved between the district and GFCCE.

Thank you to all of those who took the time to cast a vote in the March 23 GFCCE election.  Voter turnout was very good for this ballot measure as sixty-five (65) individuals voted. Here are the results for the GFCCE election on March 23:

• President:  Alex Bauer with 58 votes in favor
• Secretary:  Paula Bauer with 58 votes in favor
• Cope Bylaws:  57 Yes votes; 6 no votes

(The totals above do not total 65 votes because several ballots left some of the voting options blank.)
