Pocahontas County AFT is actively supporting The Secure Rural Schools Self-Determination Act. This fund is extremely important to our county. This money secures approximately 10 teachers each year in this county alone. Many counties across the country will be affected if this money is no longer available.
We need everyone's help! Please call your national representatives, Congressman Rahall and Mollohan, along with Senator Rockefeller. Let them know how important this funding is for many West Virginia school systems, especially Pocahontas County Schools.
